Johnny’s Jog for Charity
Johnny’s Jog for Charity is inspired by the short but powerful life of Johnny Moran. Johnny was born with Wieacker Wolff Syndrome, a rare debilitating condition that affects the central and peripheral nervous systems. Johnny’s spirit of strength and love rose far above his many limitations. His warm smile and positive attitude toward life affected all who came to know him. The mission of Johnny’s Jog for Charity 5K is to continue to share Johnny’s spirit by bringing the community together with a grand St. Patrick’s Day themed event benefiting local non-profit children’s organizations. To date Johnny’s Jog for Charity has welcomed thousands of participants and raised over $700,000 for children and families in need.
Ron’s Run
The Ron Foley Foundation was founded in memory of Ron Foley, who lost his fight with pancreatic cancer in October 2005.
The Foundation is dedicated to promoting early detection through awareness and education with hopes to find a cure through research. We are a 501(c)3 charitable organization and sponsor a series of fundraising and annual events to build awareness and raise funds for patient assistance, education and research.
Samaritan’s Purse – Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to spread joy to every child around the world. By filling a shoebox with small toys and everyday essentials these children feel the meaning of joy and are thankful beyond words, in many cases this is their first gift. Since 1993, more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. Our family has partnered with OCC since 2015 and continue to fill shoeboxes each year!
